New work commissioned for Whitstable Biennale 2008 included Serena Korda, Clio Barnard, Sarah Turner, Jananne Al-Ani, Robin Deacon, Oreet Ashery and Nick Crowe.
WB2008 included a programme of artists’ film works made for the screen, and focusing on artists who performed or featured in their own work, using themselves as material or subject matter. The programme, entitled Performance on Film, was shown at Whitstable Museum, and included works by Grace Ndiritu, Anat Ben-David and Harold Offeh.
