10th edition of Whitstable Biennale will take place in 2022 10 December 2021

A line of people, dressed in bright white costumes resembling coral or strange sea creatures, walk across a sandy beach on a bright, hazy day. The beach is littered with stones covered in seaweed, and behind the procession is a large sheer cliff of stone.

We are pleased to announce that the 10th edition of Whitstable Biennale will take place next year, from Saturday 11 June to Sunday 19 June 2022.

Whitstable Biennale 2022 will continue the festival’s strong tradition of weaving some of the most exciting and experimental visual art being made in the UK today in film, performance and sound, into the fabric of the town, creating direct, and often intimate, opportunities for local people and visitors to engage with art and artists.

More details will be announced over the coming months, including programme announcements and ways to get involved.
